Welcome To
Our Recovery Support Centres

Recovery Support Centres provide psychological support to those looking for some support during challenging times.  We offer affordable psychological services to clients with a referral from their GP and a Mental Health Care Plan.   Our Recovery focus means that we work with you to discover your preferred way to overcome any such challenges.

We are able to deliver a range of training programs, including Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Youth MHFA and programs such as SafeTalk and ASIST for your team in your office. For the small to medium sized businesses in our area, we also offer access to our Local Employee Assistance Programs (LEAP), allowing employers to support their staff to maintain their mental health.

What people think of our training courses

Mental Health First Aid was very relevant to my job and I would recommend it to others. A real strength of the course was the trainers training style, in particular the level of interaction between participants and with the trainer – Gerald was brilliant. Also impressive was the quality of the course manual and activities during the two days.

Aged Care Worker
Mental Health First Aid

The course was excellent, enjoyable and very powerful. Examining the myths and misconceptions about mental illness was a real strength of the two days.

Case Worker
Mental Health First Aid

Good course, relevant to work and life and a very positive experience. I would like more staff to able to complete this training. Really raised my awareness of mental health and mental illness and cleared up misunderstanding of mental health. A real strength was the presenters knowledge of mental health issues and how he interacted with the group.

HR Officer
Mental Health First Aid

A strength of this course is that it provided a chance to hear about different ways of communicating effectively, in a safe environment. It was a great experience. Gerald made it easy to interact and have my say.

Customer Service Officer
Mastering Challenging Interactions

This program gave me the confidence to believe more in myself and acknowledge the feelings of others without being afraid. The environment was open, comfortable and Gerald created a non-confrontational environment that enabled plenty of discussion, including being able to share personal experiences.

Financial Services Manager
Mastering Challenging Interactions

I have gained an understanding of how to communicate effectively with customers and how to deal more effectively with my reactions. It provided a great insight into having an open mind about different situations.

Customer Service Manager
Mastering Challenging Interactions

Excellent, would be relevant to ALL carers. Strength of course was the detail provided about mental disorders and practical DVDs. Makes you think about your approach towards people living with mental illness.

Support Worker (Government Department)
Mental Health First Aid

I believe this course should be mandatory for all (Government Department) staff, including Management.
